Battery… Better now
There have been a lot of criticisms online about problems with the battery life but there was an update 😀 Now it is excellent. Easy 36 hours with AOD.GPS and heat rate are excellent. Fast processor. They finally nailed it.

I also have a Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. I purchased the Ultra on a trade in deal through Samsung. The first thing I discovered was that the watch is not supported by Visible wireless. I am a Visible subscriber. They only support Apple watches. I use Google Assistant and after installing it on the Ultra I found That it’s functions are limited just like on the Classic. There are a few bells and whistles that the Classic doesn’t have but all in all it’s not deserving of all the hype in my opinion.

Battery Life sucks
A beautiful design, software and seamless connection, accuracy is almost unmatched, but I think Samsung needs to get with GARMIN and figure out how to improve their battery life of their watches, barely 4 days on a full charge in 2024 is sad.

Preordered the ultra and received 2 days early. Traded in my 5 Pro and I think a worthwhile upgrade.Pros:1. Excellent battery life – Battery life appears to be better than the 5Pro due to the new Exynos W1000.2. Big bright display3. New health/sports tracking options – tho I only use for HR and steps and some biking.4. Appears physically thinner and smaller than the 5Pro prob b/c of the 5Pro raised rim and IMO, a poorly designed strap hinge.5. Touch rotation instead of physical rotating bezel. This is a pro for me. I did get the GearS3 b/c of the rotating bezel but after long-term usage, the rotation smoothness does diminish, prob due to buildup under the bezel. Also, sometime difficult to use the rotating bezel when your fingers are wet. I also had a thin black rubberband that came out from under the bezel but I don’t remember if that was the GearS3 or the Watch 3. Either way, I don’t like anything that has physical rotating parts for this kind of tech. This is not a mechanical watch and with the unit so small, any physical moving parts will just add to the likelihood of breaking.6. Strap hinge – huge improvement over the 5 Pro IMO.7. display/screen is below the nonmoving bezel – I have a tendency to bump the watch into things and the raised rim on the 5 Pro was nice but a bit high. The screen on the ultra is set closer to the surface and the low bezel offers nice protection. I find the rim on the Watch 7 and 6 far too thin and display too close to the surface.8. The wrist move to wake function is more responsiveOnly one (nitpick) con so far with the strap. I liked the silicone quick release magnet strap with the 5Pro and wished it was an option with the Ultra. Samsung did offer a free Trail strap which I prefer over their Marine strap that came standard with the watch.

Easily the best watch I’ve had
I thought I loved my Galaxy Watch 4, but the battery was lacking. I skipped the Galaxy Watch 5 and got the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. It’s a great watch, but needing more than a day and a half use, it wasn’t phenomenal because of the battery.Enter Samsungs trade in program. Trading in the GW 6 Classic dropped the cost of this amazing watch to $250. Once I got this watch I let it charge and bow am I amazed. They say up to 48 hour battery, but I’m getting nearly 3 days. It’s fast, gorgeous, but now flawless.The one and o my complaint I have is the watchband don’t allow me to use either of my Samsung charging docks. That’s it. I can weigh the watch down or use the included charger.Outside of the design of the bands keeping this watch from being used on a doc, I honestly have no other complaints or wishes. I did sideboard the blood pressure feature, that’s disabled by Samsung due to the lack of US FDA approval, calibrated it per the instructions and it’s pretty accurate. Extremely accurate, actually. If you buy this watch outside of the US, you should have blood pressure monitoring enabled by default. And no, you cannot enable it by «activating» in in a supported country. It’s blocked by the US model number.Really, if you don’t want the convenience of checking your blood pressure, you’re not missing much.Like all Samsung Watches, to use other features, you must have a Samsung Phone. Thanks to my new Galaxy Fold 6, this isn’t a problem and they make a fantastic pairing.I highly recommend this watch. I love the orange band!

Fantastic upgrade. Just get it.
I’ve been wearing this watch for a few weeks now and I am thoroughly impressed. It is thinner and far more comfortable to wear than my previous watches. At first I thought the 40mm size might be too small for a tall skinny guy, but for me it is perfect. I may need to get a larger band eventually since it is on the last notch, but that’s an easy thing. It was super easy to setup with my Samsung S24+, and the interface is fast and responsive. We’ll worth the upgrade. A 5 star product if there ever was one.

Excellent watch
Okay, so first off I am an Apple user. That being said this does NOT work with any apple device! Not Samsung’s fault it’s on the Apple side of things. Okay, with that out of the way I grabbed a Samsung Galaxy to test with and here is what I found. This is a perfect watch for me. Honestly, it is making me consider going to Android just to use this watch. It is comfortable, accurate and I have received compliments on it at work. I am not a big guy, 5’5″, medium build. I do not like enormous watch faces and this sits perfectly in the middle between a small watch and a large watch. the touch interface is excellent, even when typing out messages it took no time to get used to. I love this watch, now only if it could pair with Apple!

WOW! What an upgrade!
I was using a Galaxy Watch Active 2 and received the opportunity to review this Galaxy Watch 7. I’m very impressed with the speed of the device and how well it works to deliver notifications and control media on my phone. The battery life is a few days with the constant heartrate tuned on, but it seems to charge very quickly. The band system is the same size as it has been for a long time, so I’ve been able to swap out the original rubber band for others that I like. I primarily use an elastic band because it breathes well and doesn’t suffocate or leave marks on my wrist. I’m very happy with this watch and I highly recommend it.

Overall very pleased
Just got my watch 7, 40mm yesterday. I am really pleased, but probably for a different reason than others. I upgraded from a Watch 6 classic I have had for about a year. People had been raving about the physical bezel wheel of previous models so I bought the six. After the first month I regretted it. It was so hefty, and honestly I didn’t use the wheel that much. When the 7 came out I decided to upgrade to the old style. This watch is so much thinner and lighter, I’m really pleased with the feel, and I didn’t miss the wheel at all. Besides that, so far it has been really snappy and smooth, and the upgraded software is nice. The transfer to the new watch went without a hitch and I was up and running in under 30 minutes.

Wonderful Watch!
I received this Galaxy Watch 7 watch about six days ago; I’ve been experimenting with all the functions / features and they all seem to work great! Sleep quality, heart rate, ECG, Apnea, steps; The watch is capable of tracking a myriad of body / health concerns; it’s really quite amazing!I’ve been inspired to slowly start regular exercise routines with biking and walking. The 44mm size presents a big bold face that I can easily see. It’s comfortable on my wrist, and I’m loving all the different watch faces I can so easily switch to! I am excited about my new GW7 watch; highly recommend!

Samsung Galaxy 7 watch
The samsung health app workouts have been amazing to have. I have been keeping record on my watch of workouts and seeing the impact it has on my stress and heart rate. I wish the watch was more integrated with the samsung health app since the workouts on t^= watch are more basic. I have been changing thr watch faces but wish there wasn’t on with just a blinking colon for the time. For added durability I added a screen cover. For watch bands I do not see many options for leather watch band most of what I can find are directed to silicone or polyester bands.

Happy with purchase
This is my first Galaxy watch. After purchasing a couple of off brand smart watches that failed to deliver accurate readings I decided to splurge and get the Galaxy watch 7. The Ulta was way to expensive for my needs. I’m so happy with the looks of this watch. Glad I got the 44mm size. This watch compliments my GS 24+. Highly recommend this watch.

My First Impressions! (Release Day Review U.S.)
I am upgrading my trusty Samsung Active 2, which is still going strong but is lagging just enough to become a bit of a nuisance, and the sensors are maybe accurate 80% of the time now. I bought this watch 5 years ago, so the upgrade jump for me is pretty big.I have been playing with the device for a day, and here is my experience so far:**Pros:**- Easy setup: My Samsung phone recognized the watch immediately and began the pairing and updating process.- Helpful tutorial: The straightforward tutorial taught me the basics for operating the watch. It was a bit different from my Active 2, so it was appreciated. You can skip it, but it only takes about 30 seconds.- Easy customization: I backed up my data from my previous watch and selected a pleasant watch face immediately.- Fast charging, quick response times, good framerate.- More screen with the same size: Reduced bezels compared to the Active 2.- Better resolution.- The sensor light is not a blinding bright green flash like on the Active 2.- Lighter than my previous watch.- Accurate sensors: I enjoy how many more features it has.- I like the Samsung Health App: It feels condensed and easy to navigate.**Neutral:**- It’s about as thick as my previous watch, which I had hoped would be thinner.- Battery life is average but may improve with use. It depends on which sensors and apps you use.- Custom workouts: I tried building one, and it was a decent experience, though it needs some fine-tuning.- Not sure how AI plays a role yet; more testing is needed.**Cons:**- It’s expensive for what it is: a health tracker that can make calls.- Minimal upgrade from a Samsung 6: The features and overall design are very similar.- Limited color options and ugly bands (this may change in the future). I used my own case and band to make it more my own.**Final Thoughts:**I primarily use my watch as a health tracker for steps, sleep monitoring, HR, etc. I’m excited to have something more accurate than before. This watch is really only worth it if you intend to use it for health tracking and want seamless integration with your Samsung phone. I rarely use my watch to reply to phone calls or emails.I’m satisfied with my purchase, but this comes from someone making a big jump from one device to another, based on initial impressions. I may update the review after more use, especially if I notice anything major.**So, do I recommend it?**It depends on your needs. Do you need a health tracker and don’t mind paying extra to be in the Samsung Ecosystem? Are you upgrading from a recent model?If you don’t mind the price, then yes, get it. I like having devices that work well together, but I wouldn’t recommend this watch if you’re upgrading from last year’s model (Samsung 6). The AI isn’t advanced or prominent enough to warrant such a small upgrade.**TLDR:**Recommended for big upgrade jumps, to be in the Samsung ecosystem, and for use as a health tracker. Not recommended or wait for a sale if upgrading from Samsung 6 or wanting just new «AI» features.

Inaccurate health tracking. Battery life.
The health tracking features are inaccurate. Specifically, all of the sleep features are completely wrong- not even close. Battery life ~ 24 hours. I purchased this expensive watch for the Battery life and health tracking features. Both are lacking.Please, don’t waste your money on this watch; it doesn’t work.

Small nuisances
I upgraded from a Garmin Vivoactive 4 and wanted to love this so much. Going in I knew the battery and fitness tracking would be trash but I had high hopes for the other features.Sleep tracking would be really cool, except it tracks both before I sleep and after I wake up as sleep and doesn’t allow you to edit it which pretty much eliminates any useful functions.The speaker has a feature to allow you to change the volume, but you can’t hear it unless it’s on max. And even still, not well if there’s surrounding noise.The most irritating thing? It’s a pretty watch, but the way the face is designed it collects tiny debris along the screen that’s impossible to get out making the watch look constantly dirty.

Fast setup, best ever fitting watch
It’s big. I have watches 3, 4. 5 and 6 and I don’t remember the setup and synching ever being that quick, or simple.I use a great Velcro strap on #6, but this fits so well I almost don’t notice it. Wild.

Great watch but short band 44m
I ordered us to watch sevens in the 44 mm size which was excellent. I ordered it in the watch and band the combination for the same price.We still have not received or two bands for the two watches we ordered it does come with the default military green colored one for each but the White Band the material we would prefer and hopefully longer has not yet been received August 2nd estimate delivery for one of them is on the 8th another the 10th so it’s a long waiting period to get the Bands. That is a bit disappointing however they are discounted down so that both together equal the same price as just the watch.So far I use it for the EKG in auction saturation as I do have breathing issues and have recently had a cold the cause of breathing issues. I tested to an actual pulse oximeter the results have been extremely close and accurate. I’m having difficulty I can monitor my saturation and do breathing techniques to improve it if it is low.I recommend that people turn off the always on display. As this is a battery drainer and you won’t get more than a day if it’s on. But turn it off and when you have the rotate wrist feature on when you rotate your wrist you’ll see the display but it will turn off when it’s not rotated up and it saves battery.As a note if your phone has Wi-Fi calling on which is very handy for using Xfinity mobile, your phone does not have to be in your pocket or next to you when you are in the house you can use the watch to make calls anywhere you’re within the Wi-Fi range in your house. So I can leave the phone in the bedroom and just wear the watch and be out on the back patio and still receiving a calls even with just the Bluetooth Wi-Fi model.

great watch, minus batt
Great watch. battery sux for a while. I got the watch a few days ago. I did the battery fix update. It did improve the battery life a lot. I am getting up to 1.5 days if I only monitor sleep and go to work during the day.We will see. I bought one of those keychain chargers. I probably shoud have gotten the 47mm ultra instead of the 40mm.

Nice improvement over previous generations
I have the Galaxy watch, which looks a little more rugged with the larger case and the rotating bezel but this sleek new design offers intuitive features that allow me to get to my information faster. Battery life has been good. Note that you’ll need a usb-c charger to charge thus as it is not included. Features are plentiful, the strap is very comfortable and the screen is bright. If you want a full featured smart watch, this is a great one. It has fall-detection and other nice safety features too. Definitely a great smart watch.

Wow!!
I really like the new Samsung Watch7. I tried this 40 mm size as I have small wrists. It fits really well and the watch setup was simple. My only concern is the battery life. I will let if fully charge and see how long it last in normal use. The «green» color is really more of «gray/green» and is actually very nice. The band is very comfortable and the watch is relatively light from my old Samsung Watch 5 Pro. I was not sure how it would feel going from one of Samsung’s biggest/heaviest watches to a much smaller and lighter watch. My wrist is much happier now 😉

Great Watch
I upgraded from the watch 6 and find very little difference. The watch seems to have a battery problem in that I only get about 12 hours usage prior to recharging. Other than that it is a great watch. I assume Samsung will do a software upgrade to address the battery.update: 8/2/2025-Samsung updated the software and now the battery is fine. I am upgrading my rating to a 5 star. This is a great watch.

Big upgrade from 6 Classic 43mm. 3 week Update
I had 43mm classic since release. It was a nice watch and I can’t really say anything bad about it but the ultra is in a whole other class.Update after using 3 weeks:Size and weight: Fully acceptable for a person my size. It is not bothersome ever and I wear it to sleep and it is fine.Looks: It continues to grow on me and is my favorite thing about it. It is unique sweet looking. Don’t buy into the Apple watch clone comments. This watch is it’s own thing. Besides that, isn’t Samsung the one who started the whole «ultra» names with their big phone. Apple has the pro and pro Max…why not just use the «pro» name for their big watch? I digress, at any rate, no one will be confused by just seeing it.Battery and charging: Exceptional battery life. With always on display, gps, Wi-Fi, NFC on I am at 39% after 48 hours. Charging is a little slow. It takes a little under 3 hours to fully charge when battery is at 20 percent. See last picture for 48 hour mark.Bands: the trail band has grown on me a lot and I still really like the peak form. I don’t have the marine band that is standard. I stayed away from it because it looked so bulky.Health features and tracking: the new quick button is great for workouts. It makes switching from one thing to next much easier. Heart rate tracking is much better and faster to update. Sleep apnea detection works as it says it will…I don’t have it so I guess that is good!Speed and performance: Massive improvement over the 6 which was laggy and obnoxious sometimes. This is never slow at anything.Rotating bezel being gone: nothing is as cool as it really moving but I can honestly say I don’t miss it. The digital works well enough and it’s one less thing that is possible to break.Overall: This is the best Samsung watch out there. It’s spendy but it does deliver. However, if you dont like big watches or care about longer battery life, etc. The watch 7 may be a better choice. It’s half the weight and half the price. It does just about everything the ultra does minus the quick button and some specific watch faces which I do like. If your an iPhone user, you have to stick with Apple watch.Original ReviewSize and fit:I am 5’10» and my wrist is just under 7.5″ in diameter. I was worried about the size and thickness but honestly it’s not even that much bulkier than the 43mm watch 6 Classic. I believe it is due to the new lug design and the band coming directly out of the case. Also the straps are built with a curve which also aids in the watch sitting nicely on my wrist. It actually protrudes less than the classic did.Weight:It said it was around 8 grams heavier but it is imperceivable. Again, the strap design and shape just make it feel lighter than it is.Style:I was also very on the fence about it. All I can say is it looks better in person. I love that it is not gloss like the classic. I always disliked the shiny black case. This thing just looks good and premium. People say it’s an Apple watch ultra clone. Several people I work with have them and they don’t look similar really at all. The Samsung version is much more unique. It does not look like a bigger galaxy watch. It’s it’s own thing completely.Straps:I got the peakform grey and the trail band was thrown in. (Purchased on Samsung). The peakform is a perfect blend of style and light weight. The trail band is just plain cool. It looks great. It is obvious that Samsung put more effort into designing these….and I would say FINALLY to that. They were pretty plain and kind of lame before.Performance:It is far snappier than the 6. In a noticeable way! I love the 3rd button…action button. It is handy.Battery life:It will take a couple weeks to evaluate that but I know it will be far better than the 6.Setup:Super easy as I already had a watch 6. Just make sure to save a backup before you start. (If you don’t have it set to automatically do it).Loss of rotating bezel:I was a little worried about this but I also worried about breaking the rotating part…or getting sand in it. Honestly the digital bezel works fine. It seems to work better than my wife’s plain 6 that is perfectly flat. I think the little bezel helps your finger stay on right spot. They also have a setting that gives tacticle feedback and little click sounds like the real one. I probably won’t use it but it did feel eerily similar to the actual moving one.New features:New build your own workout is definitely a cool feature. I do fairly consistent routines and this makes it so much easier to switch between different exercises.Sleep apnea and AGEI:All I can say is they are easy to set up. Time will tell if they are useful. I believe I have sleep apnea so it’s interesting to test. I can also say it did not bother me to sleep with it on. I had done it with the 6 Classic and it did not bother me either.Verdict:A very unique and good looking watch from Samsung. It has a huge battery and hopefully as durable as they claim. Nothing about it in person seems like it would not be tough. If you have a Galaxy phone and ok with spending the money, it seems like it would be well worth it. I plan to keep this one for a long time.

Nice Watch, Disappointing Battery Life
This is a handsome watch. It is easy to set up and use. It is responsive and the health metrics are comprehensive. They seem to be fairly accurate although the sleep was off, a bit when compared with two other devices. The other two were within minutes, this was short by twenty minutes. Not a big deal in the greater scheme of things. I am still exploring the AI features. They seem to be good, especially regarding n the health/sleep data. I am still an AI skeptic so time will tell. This is supposed to work with android phones. It does and it doesn’t. Check the specifications. It is lightweight, comfortable and looks much like its predecessor the Galaxy 6. It is sturdy and should be able to withstand the rigors of everyday use. Color options are limited to green or cream. Forme the biggest disappointment was the battery. I have to charge it every day. I have on brand cheap watches that lasts week on a single charge. Seems they could do better in this respect.Overall I like this watch. I use it primarily for the fitness features.

Samsung is terrible
Stay away from Samsung. They are no longer a reliable company and will cheat the hell out of you. Besides the watch 7 being a very poor upgrade from the watch 6, my order was supposed to come with a «Free» product and even though it was listed on the packing slip it was not in the box. When I contacted Samsung about it, they wanted me to file a police report!! What am I going to tell the police exactly? That Samsung has poor QA and didn’t double check what was in the box? That someone I don’t know stole my free product? Why put your valued customer through something like that? No amount of escalation gave me any satisfaction. This is the end of any Samsung product for me. Their customer service which used to be stellar is just far too horrible.

Beware of Samsung Customer Service
I ordered this watch from Samsung, not amazon, and they did not send the watch band that I ordered with the watch. It has been a nightmare trying to get them to send the correct watch band that I ordered. They are refusing to provide a refund for the band or send the right band, and instead are trying to pawn off the silver free band instead. Customer service is terrible and beware you might not get what you actually ordered.

Bad battery – Terrible Samsung support
Got the watch, base settings and it was dying in under 16h. Call Samsung for support and they basically told me to pound sand. Ended up getting a refund instead – and I ordered mine directly from Samsung.It’s an excellent watch, of it works. If you have battery issues, just send it back. I won’t be getting a new one because they won’t back the product at all

Pathetic battery life
Currently my galaxy watch 7 is giving me ~12hrs of battery life after a full charge. It does not even last a day and I do minimal app usage on the watch. Samsung needs to urgently roll out a FW /SW patch to fix this battery draining issue. It’s taking a serious toll on watch 7 reputation. Just 12hrs of BL is pathetic for a watch.

Amazing watch, battery sucks
This watch does amazing stuff like automatically break down a swim into laps, strokes used for those laps, lap times, BPM on those laps, etc. The down side is the battery won’t even last a day because of all of the stuff this watch is recording. Has to be charged twice a day in order to last a full day. I charge it to 100% about 8pm and by morning it is down to 70% or less and as soon as I go to the gym it is down to 10% or less unless I charge it up to 100% before going to the gym. Then after the gym it is down to 50-60% and continues dropping throughout the day so that by dinner time it is back down to 10%. Results in about 3-4 hours on a charger split between two charges a day and any steps or activity during that time is not recorded so you never get a true picture of your daily activity. And don’t make the mistake of using a non-Samsung charger as that took 4 1/2 hours to charge on just one time charging meaning the watch would have to be on a charger 8 hours + to make it through the day. NOT WORTH THE MONEY, spends almost as much time on a charger as on your wrist. I only gave it 2 stars because of all of the stuff this watch records.

Incompatible with some android phones (even Samsung galaxy))
I kept getting to the last step of setting up and connecting my new watch to my phone only to receive a message saying that my connection failed and try again. After spending all morning troubleshooting (resetting the watch, rebooting the watch, restarting the watch and my phone, uninstalling the wearable app and galaxy watch 7 app, clearing app caches, the list goes on), I was told by the Samsung support team that my phone is not compatible with my watch.You have to have a phone with Android 8.0 and RAM 1.5 or higher in order to be able to connect your phone to this watch. They told me that there is nothing they can do except suggest my buying a new phone. My older galaxy phone works just fine and I don’t see the need in spending a thousand dollars on a new phone simply because it’ll connect to a watch.Check the specs of your phone before purchasing! Others are having the same connection problem and I now know why.

missing an adapter
Comes without an adapter to plug into your USB port. Why it wouldn’t makes no sense, especially for the price you pay for the watch. Had to order one, it’ll take a couple weeks to arrive. In the mean time it makes a pretty paper weight. Beautifully packaged but this totally ruins the open box ceremony.

Nice Looking Watch
I decided to give this a try for my pre-teen son who is a tech-guru but I’m not ready to give a phone to yet. He loved the watch and it looks very nice with a premium feel and it appears to be very nice quality. I’ve had several Apple Watches so they are my benchmarks (Series 3, Series 7, & Ultra). The round face is pretty nice and it is very responsive to touch. The tricky part, however, is that this does not have the ability to link to his iPad Pro or my iPhone 15 Pro (I tried downloading the Galaxy Watch App, and even though it saw the watch, I never could get it to actually connect. I had to look up a YouTube video to find the trick to configure without an Android phone – basically you have to tap the blue logo a bunch until a message pops up, then you tap and hold it until it starts provisioning. Once in without being linked to an Android phone, it limits a LOT of functionality (you can’t even connect your Google Account to the Play store). It does still have some basic functionality which my son will enjoy, but I would like to see it work better without being so dependent on the Android Phone.Overall 4.2/5

Excellent watch but sleep function still not ready for prime time
I really like the Samsung watches and traded my 5 Pro in for the Ultra directly from Samsung since it was fairly cheap with the trade in. Super impressed with Ultra 7 however the Samsung watch is very weak in terms of tracking sleep, I was really hoping the 7 would be improved in that area but IMO it is even worse than the previous watches. It cannot read deep sleep very well if you barely move it has you as being awake and I move around quite a bit when I sleep, but still asleep. I will say they did improve getting the time right when you fall asleep and wake up, that has gotten better but tracking types of sleep still way off. The issue is that the sensors are highly sensitive to movement. For instance, I sleep 7 – 8 hours but the watch has my awake time for an hour or more each night since I tend to move a little when I sleep. So not only does it throw the sleep record off, it also throws the various other health indicators that take the sleep record into consideration. The watch also has trouble determining deep sleep, totally inaccurate compared to my previous Fitbit and Apple watch I keep getting hints on how to improve my sleeping when I don’t need them. In addition, the app will not let you correct the record. You can only delete it, which I have done numerous times and then you lose the HR data and other accurate data when you do that. I had a 60$ Fitbit that shined at doing sleep but a $700 watch can’t even track sleep properly.I am not sure why they cannot get the sensors or algorithms to track sleep properly. This watch is so good in many other areas, I really like the size and easily readable face as well as the speakers, you can really hear the results of a workout and does well when speaking to others via the phone capability. Does real well with multiple exercises as well. Also the heart rate tracking is improved and is in line with other watches I had previously. The 5 Pro had inaccurate HR calculation numerous times but works great now.The health app needs improvement. They keep putting stuff in that isn’t needed, constantly tweaking it with items it does not need, really overloading it for instance, always giving sleeping tips when they get the sleep measurements wrong anyway. Also putting ads for exercises smack in the front of your already selected format on the app. We don’t need that. But again really the the health app and the watch app are done very well overall. I also hope they let you add music playlists in the future, the music can only play songs in alphabetic order or you can use the shuffle but no playlists, they should consider using the playlists from Samsung music at least.I am not crazy about the new watch bands but using the hiking band, it works and is kind of cool but bulky. However I liked the previous watch 5 band much better. It was quick release and Samsung no longer has that but you can order it from BOVIPO on Amazon, only ten dollars as well.

Poor battery life
Yes it has many fantastic features for measuring everything that can be measured but there are at least two weaknesses. The first one for me is minor but noticeable. It doesn’t accurately measure steps or distance. I can walk from point A to point b and it will differ on the trip back. Not a big difference but noticeable. To me the biggest weakness is the weak battery. Even with minimal app use I can barely get to 36 hours before needing to recharge. I also have an Amazfit GTR3 that routinely got 12 – 14 days. A couple of times I got down into the single digits in 36 hours and I’ve only had it for two weeks. If you don’t mind charging it nearly everyday then it’s a very good device. I previously had the Watch 5 and I recall getting closer to 60 hours. If I were to go on a trip of 2 days or more I would bring my Amazfit and leave the Samsung Watch 7 home.UPDATE: after a few weeks it seems that battery has weakened. Now am lucky if it lasts a day at best. Samsung says : too bad, you can’t return it. Make the best of it
