The Screen-less future is upon us!
I don’t know how many of you are old enough to remember 1980’s cyberpunk stories, but I have fond memories of these books, such as Neuromancer and Snow Crash showing us just a little bit of what the future of Technology would hold, with a bit of 80s flair of course. One thing that was just fantastic at the time was being able to have a wearable computer on you at all times. This was the day of computer-sized PCs after all and something like that was just too farfetched. However, as PCs became smaller and the rise of Smartphones began, many of the predictions these books made started coming to life. That is, except for one – the visual component. Now, let me start by saying that the *idea* of a headset or projected screen is not new. The Virtual Boy, back in 1995 was basically a standing headset and we’ve seen implementations since then with the Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR and Apple Vision Pro. However, all of these were monstrously large, ponderous and needed massive batteries. This is where the Air 2 AR Glasses come in. They’re just slightly larger than the Bose Alto Frames that I have (Bluetooth headset inside cosplaying as sunglasses) with a very similar build. However, these have screens built-in that project a giant screen in front of you. With the cap they look like giant retro-80’s sunglasses. Without the cap, they’re basic glasses with a ghostly screen projected onto them. Imagine a heads-up display of your entire device’s screen and you’re pretty much there.Speaking of devices, this plugs into any USB-C device with a nice, out-of-the-way plug built into the end of one ear-rest, so the cable isn’t in your way all the time. Also, because it’s a universal standard like USB-C, it can literally connect to pretty much any device. Now, the website is clear that compatibility isn’t perfect, but I’ve had zero issues with these glasses using my Asus Zenbook Duo 2024 (running Windows 11) or my Vivo Fold X3 Pro. The system doesn’t seem to have any connection issues that I’ve seen yet, and there is almost no latency so gaming has been a breeze. That said, it was pretty freaky when the demon I was dispatching in Doom suddenly appeared behind me and seemed to leap out of the screen!I haven’t used this too often outside of the house, but it worked fine during a walk around a new neighborhood as I was able to take off the lens cap and “project” a giant walking map right in front of me without blocking my vision. It was actually pretty futuristic, though it is pretty large so it might not be the trendiest of accessories. That said, the build quality is solid, they’re comfortable and light enough that you can wear them for a long time without discomfort or pain. Overall, 5 stars and something I’m going to enjoy mightily on my next few trans-continental flights.

amazing AR glasses

wow i didn’t expect it to be this visually. I could start using them right away when they were set up because they were so easy to use. The first setup went more smoothly because the instructions were clear and concise. The 201-inch OLED display is tiny and incredibly crisp. Furthermore, the 1080P quality ensures that the graphics are bright and crisp. With its 600 nits of brightness, it is able to provide good vision even in well-lit situations. I used these glasses outside and indoors, and no matter what the setting, the vision was always fantastic.

Seamless Setup and Stunning Visuals
Installing plug and play on my Windows computer without installing any drivers is very convenient. I need to continue practicing how to operate the computer in my glasses. As mentioned in other positive reviews the image quality and ease of use have really impressed me so far. When I first set it up, it only took a few clicks to get started. The colors are very bright, and I haven’t noticed any issues with blurred edges. The glasses are also very lightweight and comfortable.

So far I am loving these glasses
When I’m on the go, I’ve been looking for a pair of XR glasses for entertainment. I’ve come across a model that’s incredibly comfortable to wear.Bright, clear, with better appearance and comfort, I think its price is also more favorable. These are all the reasons why I chose it. I am more willing to share RayNeo brand XR glasses than other brands. It’s worth praising their customer service, very patient to help me solve our problems, which is awesome. And I will definitely recommend them to my friends.

Works Great and Huge Screen
Excellent product! I definitely recommend getting the Pocket TV. It has a long battery life and you won’t have to worry about your phone battery draining. If you have an android or Google TV box/ phone….set up is a breeze.

Easy to Use, Great Picture
I’ve paired my Air 2 AR glasses with my DJI Air 2S and my DJI Mavic 3T Enterprise Thermal drones to provide FPV capabilities to my drone flying. It’s much more comfortable than constantly looking down at the controller to see where the camera is pointed. I’m using the Air 2 AR Glasses with an HDMI to USB-C adapter to marry up with my Enterprise controller. Really haven’t run into any hiccups, and the image is bright and clear.

Great Product
I recently picked up these AR glasses mainly for an enhanced video experience, as I travel a lot and prefer to pack light—just my slim phone and MacBook. What really sold me on these glasses was learning that they don’t require a separate battery. This not only cuts down on weight, which is a huge plus for me, but it also simplifies air travel.Using them couldn’t be easier—I just plug them into my iPhone 15 Pro Max or MacBook with the included USB-C cable, and that’s pretty much it.The first time I connected my video devices, it felt like stepping into a private cinema. I could dive into watching videos without any interruptions. The level of privacy and personal space these glasses provide is just fantastic. The video and sound quality are standout features, offering a truly unique viewing experience. If anyone asks, I’d be quick to praise how impressive they are.

great on the go!
Like these glasses a lot. They give entertainment on the go a new dimension, making my travel more fun. I used them at home as well as I do not have a TV in my bedroom. It’s easy to use and they are very light weight on the eyes as well. Never thought I’ll use them every day, crisp display, adjustable to the eyesight. Well worth the money. Exactly what I wanted.

Great experience for a great value
It’s an amazing product, and delivery exactly what promise. I’m still testing the product, however I can say it has an excepcional quality screen, and sound it’s very good too. You can hear anything and nobody near of you can hear what you’re listing. They are very light, what means you can use them comfortable for a long period. It’s lot more to explore.

Great product, not for my use.
I returned these, but not because they werent worth every penny, they were. Played some Cyberpunk on them with a Steam Deck and the picture clarity was fantastic. They are priced better then most competitora in the same class. So why did I return them? Because I realized I would get better use out of a monitor on a swivel arm near my bed. I simply dont move arpund much with my SD, other then a 45 minute lunch break, and I can suffer the little screen for that. They are a quality product, if they are indeed the product you need.

Not at all wireless and just is finicky
So I bought these as well as the adapters to allow it to be wireless. It was an interesting experience but overall it was underwhelming. Tried to play Elden ring on it and yeah it played it but the corners of the display are very blurry to almost being unreadable. Keep in mind if you are going to purchase this that whatever you want to use to display has to support USB-C or you’ll need an hdmi to usbc converter (peakdo makes a good one).

They’re okay…
They’re okay, but require a few too many things to work on certain devices. The screen is mostly good, but not great. The edges become blurry if not situated right on face, one corner being very difficult. I’d say only buy if you mainly want to use it for a computer or mobile gaming device(such as Steam Deck)and if you are lucky enough to have a phone that can give it power. Other than that, you are going to have to pay more to use this and carry a lot of things with you to make it work.

RayNeo Air 2 AR Glasses have a bright display with a very sharp picture.
I always wanted to try to use AR glasses. The RayNeo Air 2 had an attractive price and had quite a few good reviews. So far I’ve been very pleased with this purchase. I had one small issue with a nose pad. I contacted support and they were very responsive. Quite impressive.

My go-to AR glasses for personal use
I have to say it’s wonderful. This is my go-to when watching personal videos, especially during flights or even at the office. It’s super quiet, which is perfect for those public spaces.I’ve tried other AR glasses but I must say the Rayneo Air2 feels way more comfortable. They definitely nailed the wearability aspect. The image quality is just stunning. I’m a AR glasses heavy user and amazed by the fact that they boast 600 nits brightness, and it’s bright enough even under direct sunlight. The 1080p resolution is super crisp, making 3D movie watching a real treat.I really dig its shading, it has a more techy vibe compared to Xreal and Viture, thanks to the black shade parts that just look cooler. For the features it offers, it’s also cheaper than other products on the markets which is a plus for me.Sunshade does not have a brightness adjustment design, Limited split screen functionality, I’ve seen some AR glasses offer split screen, and I’m hoping the next Rayneo model might include this feature. The large display along with superb color and clarity offers a jaw-dropping visual experience. The sound quality and privacy features are also solid. However, I’m also eager to check out other products Rayneo has to offer. For the price of these AR glasses, this is a really good attempt.

They make me feel sick
Updated: After speaking with customer service, they refunded me 108$, which is pretty neat.I can use them for about 30 mins, and then I need to go to sleep to recover.I went to the optometrist and purchased the special insert lenses. Shipping was extremely fastThe devices are not HDR as claimed. The audio is much better than expected!Moonlight works great with this setup. The apps do not work with the Samsung Zfold5, but they work fine as a display. The brightness rocker seems to change the white balance, but I kind of dig it, it gives some options.Neat device, but I don’t think they are for me unfortunately.

Too basic and seems rushed
I wanted to like these glasses. They are lightweight and packaged for easy portability. Unfortunately, I was never able to get these to focus. There is no IPD adjustment, not any other adjustment except slightly angling them up or down. I tried them with my S23 Ultra, my Legion Go, and my laptop. None were suitable. I returned these after a few days.

I’ve had these glasses for just over a week now. After a full day, I simply connect them to my iPad and unwind by watching movies online in the evening.I have to say that the image quality and clarity of this product are really excellent, and this immersive viewing experience is something we have never tried before. I would recommend this toanyone who wants a cheaper alternative to the upcoming AR glasses.

A Fantastic Upgrade to TCL RayNeo Air 2!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review: A Fantastic Upgrade to TCL RayNeo Air 2!A Worthy Upgrade to the Future of AR with TCL RayNeo Air 2!I recently upgraded from the TCL Nxtwear S+ to the TCL RayNeo Air 2, and I couldn’t be happier with the decision. Here’s why these AR glasses are worth every penny:Amazing VisualsThe first thing you’ll notice is the stunning display quality. The RayNeo Air 2 has dual Sony-produced Mini OLED screens with a 1920 x 1080 resolution, making everything look super sharp and vibrant. Whether I’m gaming, watching movies, or just browsing, the 120Hz refresh rate keeps everything smooth and immersive.Super ComfortableThese glasses are incredibly light, weighing only 76 grams, which is a huge improvement over the Nxtwear S+. The adjustable arms and nose pads let you customise the fit, making them comfy for long periods. However, I do miss the fluffier nose guard from the Nxtwear S+—the RayNeo Air 2’s could use a bit more cushioning.Versatile CompatibilityThe RayNeo Air 2 easily connects to pretty much any device you can think of—iPhones, Android phones, laptops, and even gaming consoles like the Nintendo Switch(Via a Dock) and Steam Deck(Direct connectivity). This makes it super versatile, whether I’m travelling, at home, or in a meeting.Improved Cable ConnectionOne of the best upgrades is the switch from the proprietary POGO pin connector of the Nxtwear S+ to a standard USB-C to USB-C connection in the RayNeo Air 2. This change is a game-changer, making it much easier to find compatible cables and ensuring a more reliable connection across all my devices.Good, but Not Great, AudioThe audio quality is decent, with clear sound thanks to the dynamic stereo and phase cancellation tech. It’s definitely better than the Nxtwear S+, but you might still want to use Bluetooth earbuds for a richer sound experience.Eye ComfortA big plus is the TÜV Rheinland Certified Eye Comfort feature, which really helps reduce eye strain during those long viewing sessions. This was a thoughtful addition, making the glasses more user-friendly for extended use.Cool AR FeaturesThe RayNeo XR app adds some cool AR features, like a floating augmented reality interface and head tracking for Android users. This is a fun upgrade from the Nxtwear S+ and makes the glasses feel even more high-tech.Final ThoughtsThe TCL RayNeo Air 2 is a fantastic upgrade from the Nxtwear S+. With its top-notch display, lightweight design, broad compatibility, and advanced AR features, it’s a great choice for anyone looking to dive into augmented reality. I highly recommend it, though I do wish the nose guard was a bit cushier like on the Nxtwear S+.Overall, these glasses have exceeded my expectations and are definitely worth the investment. If you’re on the fence, go for it—you won’t be disappointed!

Great Design!
I recently had the pleasure of using the RayNeo Air 2 AR Glasses, and they exceeded my expectations in every way. From the sleek design to the cutting-edge technology, these glasses offer a seamless augmented reality experience that is both immersive and practical.Design and Comfort:The first thing I noticed was how lightweight and comfortable the RayNeo Air 2 glasses are. They fit perfectly and are easy to wear for extended periods. The build quality is excellent, with a stylish design that doesn’t compromise on durability.Display and Visuals:The visual clarity is outstanding. The high-resolution display projects crisp and vivid images, making it perfect for both casual use and professional applications. Whether I was navigating through city streets or watching a video, the AR overlays were clear and responsive.Functionality:The RayNeo Air 2 is packed with useful features. The hands-free control is intuitive and user-friendly, allowing me to access information quickly and efficiently. The integration with various apps is seamless, and the ability to customize the AR interface adds a personal touch to the experience.Battery Life:Battery life is impressive, lasting an entire day with moderate use. This is a significant improvement over previous models and means I don’t have to worry about the glasses dying on me during important tasks.Use Cases:I’ve used the RayNeo Air 2 for navigation, virtual meetings, and even gaming. The augmented reality features enhance productivity and entertainment, making these glasses versatile for both work and play.Overall, the RayNeo Air 2 AR Glasses are a fantastic investment for anyone looking to explore augmented reality. They offer a superior user experience with their comfortable design, excellent display, and robust functionality. I highly recommend them to tech enthusiasts and professionals alike.

Great glasses! Perfect for my Nintendo Switch
For those who frequently travel by plane, this device is indispensable. It’s not only perfect for long flights, but it also surpasses the typical limitations of onboard entertainment.Pros:Immersive Experience: Whether you’re soaring at 30,000 feet or lounging in your living room, wearing these glasses provides a far superior viewing experience compared to just using a smartphone or tablet. I’m talking about an immersive experience with a screen size up to 201 inches.Ease of Use: It’s incredibly portable and I find its design very convenient. It comes with a USB-C cable, making it easy to connect directly to my iPhone 15.Superior Video and Audio Quality: I’ve tried other AR glasses and I feel that Rayneo’s Air2 excels in both video and audio. It’s brighter and clearer. I mean, it’s better than any Xreal Air I’ve used.Cool Design: I love its black light-blocking visor which looks more tech-savvy and blocks more light while enhancing the immersive feel.Cons:Packaging Update Needed: It doesn’t come with a carrying case, which I think would make the experience more convenient; perhaps this was a cost consideration. In summary, I believe this device revolutionizes the traditional way of watching movies on smartphones and tablets. It’s an innovative product with additional accessories. I look forward to trying it on my PS and Steam Deck. I recommend new users to give it a try.

Basically they tell you what you want to hear but….
So they say it is for people with glasses – they neglect to say you have to send off the lenses they provide to have your prescription to them to make that a thing. They tell you to get the beam to lock the screen and add multiple screens – well that so far is not supported by either my windows pc, mac, or iphone 13. so that 100 bucks for the beam is pretty much a waste. Casting is a joke….will not cast from vudu videos and drops the phone casting every 5 minutes. I am a tech reviewer and this is total and complete junk! and don’t get me started on the design of the beam and the interface….glasses look so modern and sleek and then you get a first gen ipod looking device and a graphic interface that looks like a 3rd grader made it for a school project. all around disappointed. so now i have glasses that don’t work with my glasses unless i want to spend more money and that is after spending more money on the beam to try and get my phone on there and nope….total waste there as well. So now it looks like i should have got the hub instead of the beam. their marketing and instructions are junk!

Decent for a good for the price
I just got my pair today, they are pretty good. I will say the sound is definitely not great though as mine were very quiet and I could barely hear anything at full volume. It took a little bit of adjusting to get a decent viewing angle. The edges are blurry so some games and video might be rough if you need to see the edges.Overall though I am pretty happy with my purchase and I will certainly like watching Netflix and YouTube in bed at night.

Read/saw reviews before buying. Glad I bought them for my Android phone
For Prime day, some AR glasses popped up on the amazon main page. Then I remember that for awhile I been wanting to get glasses so I can watch videos on the plane. So started looking at deals and found these. Immediately I started looking at reviews online and people seem to like them, and this is when they were 350+. I got them for 280.So I wasnt going to use them with a laptop or a gaming console. I just wanted to plug into my phone and watch Netflix and Crunchyroll on the plane.I have a Samsung Z Flip 6 and when I got the glasses, I plugged them into the phone and immediately they mirrored my phone screen. Looking throught the bottom of the glasses I could see where to tap the phone screen to open the apps. Then I opened crunchyroll and launch a video. All I gotta say is WOW! The microled screens are as good as the OLED computer monitor I have. True black looks great. Then I figured out how to turn up the brightness and I started squinting because it got so bright, so I decided to use level 4 which is less than 50% brightness. Also, they come set to 120hz, but since I wont be gaming, I set them to 60hz using the controls on the temple. Then came the sound. I do have to agree with other reviews that state that the sound is low. Well, the speakers fire to your ears but alot of the sound is lost because of this. BUT playing around, I used my hands to form a «cup» around my ear including the part where the speakers were and it was so loud I had to turn it down. Yes, once you create a «cup around your ears and the speaker, it gets VERY loud.I know I know, I wont be using it like this obviously, but this shows how loud the speakers get. Is unfortunate that they didnt make the glasses with a contraction that you can plug and be able to put the speakers directly into your ear (i have seen them, the oculus quest use these for better sound).Anyways, since I will be using them on the plane, I’ll be using noise cancelling headphones, so no big deal.Regarding comfort, the glasses offer some adjustability. You can tilt the temples by carefully pushing the sides up or down. I recommend you watch some youtube reviews so you can do it properly. Also, you can open the nose pads if you carefully push on the pads. I recommend taking the nose pads out (you can slide them out of the glasses) adjust them and put them back on. It will take a few tries but you will be happy after getting them set correctly. Now comes the part with the phone app.Had to go to the Rayneo website and download it. I couldnt find it in the google store.Once i opened it and got it setup, I saw that it had crunchyroll preloaded! Immediately I try to launch it then I realized it just launches the built in web browser and takes you to the curnchy roll page. And let me tell you, the experience was bad. It was slow and laggy. After 30 seconds, I closed the app and never use it again. There are a few things to know when using a phone (samsung in my case). The glasses MIRROR your screen. If you turn off the screen, you also turn off the video feed to the glasses. So to watch videos, I recommend you do 2 things. Go to the settings > device care and set the power levels to «light» instead of normal. This will help with heat on the phone. Also turn off AUTO BRIGHTNESS on the screen settings because you will need to turn the phone screen brightness all the way down.Unfortunately on the z flip, if you close the lid, you loose the video feed. Even if you launch youtube, netflix or crunchyroll on the outside screen, the glasses wont mirror it, so to watch videos I have to keep the phone open.So far so good, but now comes the concern about battery life. Since your phone powers the glasses, your battery will go down pretty quick, so after some research, I bought an USB C adapter that lets you plug an external power source and the glasses at the same time so your phone gets charged while using the glasses. I bought the following one and it works perfectly, just search «B0CYCM63JD» on amazon and it will be LIVIN AR brand adapter. It actually works very well. Reviewers of older units and different brands state the USB C adapters gets hot, but this one did not after watching videos for an hour.Lastly, if you are going to travel, you will need a battery pack. After more research, I found the following 10k mah pack. Is compact and has extremely good reviews online for how fast it charges and how close its rated battery capacity is to its advertised capacity. Just search «B09176JCKZ» and it will be the INIU pack.I am very happy with my purchase since all I needed is a screen to watch movies on the plane. If you are planning on using it to do work on you laptop, I recommend other brands with more features.

I don’t see it.
First, I am pretty sure that this product must have been returned before (in other words it was used). The glasses were not set properly in the box, and there was a document that slid out from the outer container that should have been in the box, not outside of it. Despite that, I tried to use the product and just don’t see the advantage. It is difficult to adjust, and like some of the previous comments, I had to wear the glasses so far down my nose to «see» the full screen it was ridiculous. I could never get the right screen completely clear, there was a significant blur and the only way to get rid of it was to practically wear the glasses sideways. Now, to the screen size. I have a 13 inch Dell xps laptop and the image size and clarity was 10 times better than what I was experiencing on the «big screen,» even at a distance. I don’t think the screen size is accurate. Too many adjustments having to be made means this product is still in development – and I just don’t see it for me. I am returning them.

Conveniently Portable Projector
I recently got my hands on a Thunderbird Air 2 smart projector, and after using it for a while, I’m excited to share my thoughts. this projector is fantastic and has fully met my home theater expectations.First off, the picture quality is impressive. The Thunderbird Air 2 offers 1080p resolution, delivering crystal-clear images with vibrant colors. The brightness is also top-notch. Even during the day, as long as I draw the curtains, the picture remains clear. Watching movies at night feels just like being in a theater—totally immersive. The projector is compact and lightweight, making it super easy to carry around. I’ve taken it to friends’ houses several times already, and movie nights have been a big hit. Its small size means I can enjoy a big-screen experience anytime, anywhere. The built-in speakers are pretty good, delivering clear and loud sound. While connecting to external speakers would enhance the experience, the built-in ones are more than adequate for everyday use.As a smart projector, it not only offers excellent picture and sound quality but is also very portable, meeting all my home entertainment needs..Pros: • Sharp picture quality with vibrant colors • High brightness suitable for various lighting conditions • Compact and portable design • Decent built-in speakersCons: • None so far

Awesome glasses!
I got these Air 2 AR Glasses, and they are sooo cool! The Micro OLED display is stunning, with sharp 1080P resolution and bright 600 nits, making everything look vibrant and clear. The refresh rate provides a smooth viewing experience, whether I’m watching videos or using other apps. I use these with my steam deck and it makes playing games so much more fun and realistic. The glasses are comfortable to wear and looks cool too. It’s like having a big screen right in front of my eyes, but without the bulk of a traditional VR headset. They look like sunglasses so no one would even know your playing a game or watching a movie with these on. So cool.
